Tarka Chairman Hon. Yenge Raphael Donates Electric Bike and Ambulance to Teaching Hospital Wannune

The Chairman of Tarka Local Government Area, Hon. Yenge Raphael, has made a significant contribution to healthcare in the region by donating the council’s first electric bike and ambulance to the newly established Teaching Hospital in Wannune. The handover ceremony, held today, marks a milestone in improving healthcare delivery in the area.

Hon. Raphael highlighted the innovative use of an electric bike, which requires no fuel, as a solution to enhance healthcare access across remote communities. He emphasized that this initiative addresses the challenges posed by poor rural roads, ensuring that medical services can reach those in need more effectively.

In addition to the donation, the chairman assured residents that in the council’s second year in office, priority will be given to street projects, rural road construction, and other basic infrastructure developments. “Leadership remains a service to the people,” he stressed, underscoring his commitment to the community’s welfare.
