The administration of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has continued its rehabilitation of primary health care facilities across Benue State, with the Primary Health Care Centre in Asukunya, Tarka Local Government Area, among the latest to receive attention.
Recent updates show the facility now features a refurbished building with improved exterior finishing, functional structures and 24-hour service readiness.
The centre provides care for adults, children under five and pregnant mothers, covering services such as outpatient treatment, immunization, malaria management, antenatal care, labour and delivery, postnatal care, deworming and treatment of diarrhoea and malnutrition.
The rehabilitation forms part of ongoing efforts by the state government to strengthen primary healthcare delivery and improve access to essential medical services for residents in rural communities.
