Terror Alart Issued to Ukum LGA as Suspected Fulani Terrorists Camping in Kundav, Multiple Communities on High Alert

A fresh terror alert has been issued for Ukum Local Government Area in Benue State, warning residents to remain vigilant after credible reports emerged of a group of armed men believed to be Fulani terrorists camping around Kundav as of 6pm on August 17, 2026.

According to TruthNigeria, the suspected terrorists are camped at coordinates 7°26’01.22″N 9°37’22.46″E. The area, located in the sparsely forested parts of Kundav, has reportedly suffered widespread attacks and displacements in recent times and has partly fallen under the control of the Fulani militants.

Locals have described the presence of large suspicious groups of men in the region, raising immediate fears of an impending assault. While officials have not yet confirmed the claims, the Benue State government has urged the public to exercise heightened caution.
