Professor Utsev Empowerment Program Kicks Off in Benue State

The Hon. Minister for Water Resources, Environment, and Sanitation, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, is set to empower youths, women, and vulnerable individuals across Benue State today. The empowerment program, themed “Water no get Enemy,” will distribute essential resources to boost local development.

The initiative includes the provision of:
– 5 cars
– 120 motorcycles
– 120 sewing machines
– 120 grinding machines
– 150 irrigation pumps
– Communication gadgets and other items

The program aims to enhance irrigation farming, improve transportation, engage youth and women in commercial agriculture, provide gainful employment, and reduce youth restiveness. The event is scheduled to take place at the residence of Senator Dr. George Akume, located on Padre Pio Street, Judges Quarters, Makurdi.
