The flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections, Dr. Emmanuel Shior, on Friday welcomed members of the ADC, NDC, APC and other political parties into the PDP.
Represented by the Director General of the Dr. Shior Campaign Organization, Hon. Peeki Innocent, Dr. Shior urged the new members to vote massively for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections. He noted that other political parties are in disarray and are not fit to be entrusted with leadership in the 2027 general elections.
Dr. Shior further charged the new PDP members to campaign vigorously for him and other PDP aspirants, and to mobilize more supporters to ensure victory for the party in 2027.
In their remarks, Hon. Godwin Donko, former Executive Chairman of Makurdi Local Government Area, who represented the leader of the party in Isherev extraction, Rt. Hon. Avine Agbom, alongside the PDP Deputy Chairman of Makurdi Local Government, Hon. Mansur Abdullahi, Hon. Anye Kwaghtser, Hon. Tyokaatyever Joseph and Hon. Ibrahim Sheik, applauded the defectors. They described the PDP as the best political home for all.
Also speaking, Hon. Aaande Jacob, Chairman of Agan Council Ward, formally welcomed the decampees led by the ADC Deputy Youth Leader for Makurdi Local Government, Hon. Victor Msughter Joo, including the Beetseh Sisters and others. He declared that with the mass movement into the PDP, there is no longer room for other political parties to thrive in their community.
