The Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, made a notable gesture on Friday by donating a Toyota Corolla to the District Head of Mbaakura in Buruku Local Government Area, Chief Mathias Dzer Ager. The presentation took place as a show of support for the traditional ruler’s leadership role in the community.
According to the Minister, the donation is aimed at easing Chief Ager’s mobility and enhancing his ability to serve and lead the community effectively. The event underscores Utsev’s commitment to supporting traditional institutions in Benue State.
The handover ceremony was attended by local dignitaries, with the community expressing gratitude for the Minister’s initiative. This act is seen as a step toward strengthening community leadership and development in the region.
