The Buruku Concerned Elites Initiative (BCEI) Makurdi Branch has publicly expressed its unwavering support for Hon. Tiza Isaac Imojime Orya, a former Commissioner for Works and Housing Development, as he undergoes screening. In a press statement dated August 25, 2025, the group highlighted his significant contributions to the development of Buruku Local Government and Benue State at large.

“During his tenure as Commissioner, Hon. Tiza achieved remarkable milestones, including: – Overseeing the construction of the Makurdi and Gboko Underpass – Establishing a Quality Control and Material Testing Laboratory – Supervising key projects such as road dualization and the Benue State Fashion Hub – Providing free medical treatment, JAMB registrations, and scholarships to indigent citizens – Empowering youth and women through financial support and job opportunities,” the statement reads, showcasing his impactful leadership.
The BCEI Makurdi Branch also extended gratitude to His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for entrusting Hon. Tiza with this critical role. “We appreciate His Excellency, Rev. Fr. We are confident that he will continue to make BCEI and Buruku proud as well as make meaningful contributions to the development of Benue State,” the group noted.
