Four-Year-Old Boy Missing in Yandev as Family Suspects Trafficking Incident

Another child has reportedly gone missing in Yandev, Gboko area of Benue State, raising fresh fears of child trafficking in the community.

According to a detailed account shared widely on social media, the 4-year-old boy and his 8-year-old elder brother left their home near Tarukpe market to meet their mother at the market before proceeding to an evening church programme.

A man on a white rubber bike allegedly stopped the boys and gave the older one N1,000 to cross the road and buy airtime. Upon returning, the elder brother discovered that his younger sibling and the man had disappeared.

The family is now seeking urgent help to locate the missing boy, with growing concerns linking the incident to possible human trafficking activities in the area. Community members have specifically mentioned one Andy Iorkaha from Tarukpe, Yandev, Gboko, in connection with the case.
