Hon. Jonathan Modi, Chairman of Ukum Local Government Area in Benue State, has presented a N1 million induction gift to Dr. Gwaza Shovihkah, a native of the area who was recently inducted into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
Dr. Shovihkah received the cash gift on the same day he was formally inducted on June 30, 2026, in recognition of his determination and excellence in completing his medical education and qualifying to practice as a doctor.
The chairman’s gesture was acknowledged by Dr. Gwaza on his Facebook page, where he expressed gratitude: “Thank you Hon. Jonathan Modi, chairman of Ukum local government (the capacity chairman). 1 million naira induction gift well received. May God bless you richly sir.”
Hon. Modi’s action has been praised locally as a motivational support for young professionals from the area. Dr. Shovihkah also extended congratulations and well wishes in his post.
