Christians in Yelewata, Benue Gather for Fathers Day Memorial Honoring Persecution Victims

Christians from various parts of Benue State gathered in Yelewata for the Fathers Day Memorial Opening organised by Equipping The Persecuted to remember and honour the lives of husbands, fathers, mothers, children, and loved ones lost to persecution.

The memorial event brought together families and community members to reflect on stories of sacrifice while celebrating the resilience of their faith. Participants paid tribute through prayers, reflections, and the unveiling of commemorative plaques listing the names of victims.

Clergymen in traditional vestments led parts of the service as the gathering served as both a solemn remembrance and a source of inspiration for generations.
