St. John the Baptist Cathedral, Gboko Hosts Saturday Ordination Ceremony in Benue State

St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Gboko, Benue State, played host to a special ordination ceremony on Saturday, 27th June 2026.

The event featured the ordination of new priests and deacons, marked by solemn liturgical rites, prayers, and the laying on of hands by the Bishop. Candidates in white and red vestments were seen receiving blessings and participating in the sacred proceedings inside the beautiful cathedral.
