Asom D Jerry Intensifies Attack on Governor Alia, Accuses Him of Patronising “Loose Women” in Government Appointments

Controversial Benue commentator Asom D Jerry has responded sharply to the recent protest by Benue women against him, launching fresh allegations against Governor Hyacinth Alia and some women in his administration.

In a lengthy Facebook post, Jerry described the protest, led by APC State Women Leader Helen Agaigba, as sponsored and questioned the moral standing of its leaders. He made specific claims about Agaigba’s past personal life, alleging infidelity and divorce.

Jerry further accused Governor Alia of patronising girlfriends and concubines by appointing them into government positions, describing it as rewarding “infamous acts” with taxpayers’ money. He claimed the Governor frequently communicates with certain women while allegedly ignoring calls from appointees and stakeholders.

The commentator challenged the women he mentioned to publicly refute his claims, stating he has more evidence including dates, places, and details.
