Women and youths from the Agan community in Makurdi on Monday staged a solidarity rally at the High Court in North Bank to show support for Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa SAN, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2027 governorship candidate.
The supporters gathered after learning of Aondoakaa’s presence in court. They temporarily barricaded the court premises and access road, sang solidarity songs, and chanted his name while expressing strong confidence in his leadership with visible excitement and optimism.
According to a Facebook post by Tivta Samuel Aondohemba, Aondoakaa received loud cheers from the crowd as he left the courtroom. He thanked the Agan people for their commitment to him and the PDP, stating that their support would inspire the collective effort toward realizing his gubernatorial aspiration.
The rally highlights the growing grassroots backing for Aondoakaa ahead of the 2027 elections in Benue State, with supporters demonstrating enthusiasm and readiness to mobilize for his ambition.
