Gov. Alia Pushes Makurdi Road Project Forward as Full Construction Resumes

Full-scale construction has resumed on the Wurukum Market-Akpehe Market road in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State, under the administration of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia. The project, a key infrastructure initiative, is set to enhance connectivity and economic activity in the region.

According to updates from the contractor, drainage works along the stretch have been fully completed. The old rehabilitated surface is currently being removed to pave the way for the laying of fresh asphalt.
