A young woman from Ghana has found herself stranded in Nigeria after a heartbreaking betrayal by her Tiv lover, whom she relocated to build a future with. The relationship, which began online, quickly deepened into a serious commitment, convincing the lady to leave Ghana for Abuja without a formal marriage. However, her journey took a devastating turn upon arrival.
Her partner sent her to his family home in Gbolko, Benue State, where she spent over six months assisting with farming activities. Working tirelessly from morning till evening, she hoped to prove herself to her would-be mother-in-law and support the man she loved.
