Lobi Stars FC Mourns Death of Former Defender Kabiru Mohammed

Lobi Stars Football Club has been thrown into mourning following the tragic death of its former defender, Kabiru Mohammed, who died in a fatal road accident along the Zaria-Gusau road.

In a statement released by the club, the Management, Staff, and Players of Lobi Stars expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the talented defender.

Kabiru Mohammed was remembered as more than just a player to the Pride of Benue. During his time with the club, he distinguished himself as a solid and dependable figure in defence, known for his strength, courage, and unwavering commitment. His calm presence at the back and fighting spirit earned him the respect of teammates, coaches, and supporters alike.

Although he had moved to Wikki Tourists FC for the ongoing 2025/2026 season, Kabiru remained a valued member of the Lobi Stars family. The club described his untimely death as a painful loss to the entire football community.

The club extended heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, teammates, and friends, praying for God’s strength and eternal rest for the departed.
