Nigerian Adventurer Hilenen Aben Sets Off on Epic West Africa Journey by Car and Bike Starting April 1

Hilenen Aben has announced he will embark on a long-awaited personal journey across West Africa beginning April 1, describing it as one of the ways he has always wanted to experience life by exploring places, cultures, and people up close rather than from a distance.

 

The adventure will kick off in Freetown, Sierra Leone, before moving through Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Gambia, and Senegal. Aben plans to travel with both his car and his bike, driving through the roads and then slowing down to feel the terrain and atmosphere on two wheels.

In his announcement, Aben expressed excitement about the uncertainty ahead, saying the beauty of the journey lies in not knowing exactly what lies ahead. He added that he is looking forward to experiencing Africa differently and connecting more deeply with the continent.

The trip, tagged #PedalDriveAfrica, comes as a bold step for the adventurer who has carried the dream in his mind for a long time. Aben noted that the support from fans and well-wishers continues to fuel his ambition as he sets out on what promises to be an unforgettable overland expedition across West Africa.
