City Boy Movement Distributes Fasting Relief Packages to Christian and Muslim Communities in Makurdi

The Benue State chapter of the City Boy Movement, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, distributed fasting relief packages to both Christian and Muslim communities in Makurdi as a gesture of support for their ongoing spiritual observances.

The initiative, aimed at promoting unity, compassion, and interfaith harmony, saw the movement provide essential items to assist residents observing religious fasts during this period.

Leading the delegation was Shadrach Teryila Ukuma, Director General of the Benue State Bureau for Arts, Culture and Tourism, who also serves as the State Organizing Secretary of the City Boy Movement in Benue. The distribution exercise took place in Makurdi, the state capital.

Dignitaries present at the event included:

– Hon. Tiza Isaac Imojime Orya, Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Creativity and Director of the City Boy Movement in Benue State
– Mr. Bawa, representative of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
– Hon. Joseph Keffi, Chairman of Makurdi Local Government Council
– Dr. Aondooaseer Leonard Viashima, Director General of the Benue Investment and Development Company (BIDCO)
– Kunde Aondowase, Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management
– And other notable figures from government and the community.

The gesture has been widely commended as a demonstration of the movement’s commitment to fostering peaceful coexistence and supporting citizens during significant religious periods.
