Youths of Otukpo-Nobi community in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State have blocked the Otukpo-Enugu Expressway in protest following the killing of at least 10 people by suspected armed herders.
Reports indicate that the attack on the community was still ongoing as of early Sunday morning, with residents raising alarm over the continued violence.

The protest comes amid heightened tensions in Benue South after multiple attacks in the area over the weekend, which have left many dead and several others injured. The demonstrators are demanding urgent intervention from security agencies to restore peace in the affected communities.
Motorists have been advised to consider alternative routes as the protest continues.
