Two Killed in Katsina-Ala as Suspected Armed Groups Regroup in Nasarawa Forest

Tragedy struck in Abaji, Kpav Council Ward of Katsina-Ala Local Government Area, Benue State, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, when two persons were killed by unidentified gunmen. The deceased, identified as Mr. Tersoo Amen and Mr. Emberga Anthony, were fatally attacked around 2:56 p.m. Their remains have been deposited at the General Hospital mortuary in Katsina-Ala.

In a related development, intelligence sources have revealed that suspected armed herders are reportedly regrouping in a forest at Ankoma, Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. This has heightened concerns over possible coordinated assaults on border communities in Benue State, raising alarms about regional security.
