Two Immigration Officers Abducted in Benue, Kidnappers Demand ₦10M Ransom

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Zone H Headquarters in Makurdi has issued an urgent appeal following the abduction of two of its officers in Benue State. The victims, Officer Oliver Orasaur and Officer David Shiondo, were reportedly kidnapped along the Katsina-Ala – Ukum Road a few days ago. According to available information, their families have since been contacted by the abductors, who are demanding a ransom of ₦10 million for their release.

The NIS has described the incident as a critical moment for the Service, calling for swift intervention, solidarity, and concerted efforts to ensure the safe return of the officers.
