The Benue State chapter of Team Tinubu 2027 has appointed 23 Local Government Coordinators as part of intensified efforts to consolidate support and drive grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The letters of appointment were formally presented during a ceremony attended by members, stakeholders, and leaders of the socio-political group in Makurdi. The event marked a significant step in expanding the organisation’s structure across all 23 local government areas of the state.
Speaking at the occasion, the State Coordinator, Mr. Kuma Aii Iyenge, charged the newly appointed coordinators to immediately commence ward-level engagement and mobilisation in support of the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia. He emphasised that Team Tinubu 2027 had already established functional structures statewide and expressed strong confidence that both leaders would secure overwhelming support from Benue voters in the next election cycle.
Responding on behalf of the coordinators, Engr. Godwin Aondohhemba Addingingi from Buruku Local Government Area thanked the leadership for the opportunity to serve. He assured that the appointees would collaborate closely with stakeholders in their respective LGAs to build momentum and deliver massive support for the President and Governor in 2027.
The ceremony was graced by the North Central Zonal Patron of the group, Hon. Ior Ikyereve, Chief John Akuse, and other prominent stakeholders. The appointments reflect the group’s determination to deepen its presence at the ward and polling unit levels, ensuring robust voter education, registration drives, and sustained advocacy for the Tinubu-Alia agenda in Benue State.
Team Tinubu 2027 remains focused on uniting supporters across ethnic, religious, and political lines to guarantee victory for the President and Governor in the forthcoming elections.
