Suspected Herdsmen Attack Camp in Igumale, Ado LGA, Kill One, Injure Others

One person has been killed and several others injured following a suspected herdsmen attack on a camp in Igumale, Ado Local Government Area of Benue State.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, has heightened fears among residents in the area as farming activities prepare to intensify with the onset of the rainy season.

According to reports from Ezze Benue Voice and Benue Info-pedia, the attackers struck the settlement, leaving behind casualties and panic among the affected community members.

The attack adds to the growing list of security challenges in parts of Ado LGA and other rural communities in Benue State, where clashes between farmers and herders have become recurrent, especially during planting periods.
