Prof. Kohol Iornem Praises Governor Alia’s Vision for Benue State Development

Prof. Kohol Shadrach Iornem has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Benue State government officials from Kwande and Ushongo local governments, recognizing their roles in both executive and legislative positions. In a statement posted on Facebook at 10:06 PM WAT, Prof. Iornem lauded Governor Fr. Hyacinth Alia for his foresight and vision in driving significant progress across the state.

The academic highlighted Governor Alia’s impactful initiatives, which include infrastructural development, improvements in education and healthcare, road construction, economic growth, human capital development, social welfare, and security initiatives. Prof. Iornem expressed unwavering support for the governor’s people-oriented policies, acknowledging his recognition of the people of Kwande and Ushongo and his commitment to building the Benue of the people’s dreams.

Additionally, Prof. Iornem urged all eligible voters from Kwande and Ushongo to actively participate in the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration exercise. He emphasized the importance of this effort to ensure that tested and credible leaders, like Governor Alia—who has set a standard for effective leadership since taking office in 2023—are voted into power in the 2027 general elections. Prof. Iornem assured complete logistical support for every eligible voter, aiming for a landslide victory for the ruling APC in 2027.
