On Day 82 of his remarkable bicycle journey from Nigeria to the USA, cyclist Emmiwuks visited the Nigerian Embassy in Sierra Leone. The athlete, known as Real-Emmiwuks, was warmly received by His Excellency, Ambassador Anthony John Ebipador. The visit marked a significant moment in his mission to raise awareness and support for orphans, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), and vulnerable communities across Africa.
Emmiwuks shared the story of his journey, the vision, struggles, and the mission behind his ride with the ambassador. Impressed by the cyclist’s dedication, Ambassador Ebipador listened with genuine interest, offered encouragement, and handed him a business card, assuring his support along the way. Emmiwuks noted that the ambassador’s words were especially meaningful given the challenges of navigating unfamiliar territories.
Expressing gratitude, Emmiwuks thanked Ambassador Ebipador for his warm reception and encouragement, which he said renewed his strength to continue. He also extended special thanks to his friend Alhaji, who accompanied him, and to NIDO President, whose connection made the visit possible. Reflecting on the experience, Emmiwuks emphasized that such moments remind him he is not alone and that his mission transcends personal effort.
With the motto “Together we ride. Together we rise. VIVA AFRICA,” Emmiwuks continues his inspiring journey, supported by the global African community.
