A new political support group has emerged in Benue State, signalling early alignments ahead of the 2027 elections. The initiative, driven by Dr Grace Adagba in collaboration with the APC Elders Forum in Vandeikya, is aimed at mobilising grassroots backing for Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia.

The group, known as Divine Consensus 4 Alia 2027, officially presented GESA U AMO during a gathering in Vandeikya Local Government Area. Organisers say the initiative is designed to consolidate support for the governor’s leadership and promote continuity beyond his current tenure. The APC Elders Forum in the area is reported to be part of the coalition, lending political weight to the movement.
