The leadership of Governor Alia Media Vanguard has extended heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Grace Adagba, Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), for her compassionate humanitarian gesture towards Elder Igba Lorbo, a respected member of the organization. This recognition comes in light of Dr. Adagba’s exemplary support during a challenging time for Lorbo’s family.
In a notable act of solidarity, Dr. Adagba cleared medical bills exceeding ₦200,000 and facilitated the immediate transfer of Elder Lorbo’s ailing mother from St. Thomas Hospital Ihugh to Benue State University Teaching Hospital Makurdi for advanced treatment. Despite these efforts, the late mother of Elder Lorbo sadly passed away. The family has expressed deep gratitude for Dr. Adagba’s kindness and support during their time of need.
In a statement signed by Comr. Tofi Simon Terenge, Director of the Vanguard, the group pledged total loyalty to Dr. Adagba, commending her laudable achievements as SUBEB Boss. Her leadership has brought unprecedented development to the education sector in Benue State. The Vanguard also assured Dr. Adagba of their unwavering support in all her endeavors toward achieving greater success.
Comr. Tofi further expressed the group’s joy over Dr. Adagba’s selfless gesture, encouraging her to extend such goodwill to other individuals in need whenever the opportunity arises.
