Comrade Austin Agada-Led Executive Reaffirmed for Another Four-Year Term

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has successfully conducted its State Congress, culminating in the unanimous reaffirmation of Comrade Austin Agada-led State Executive Committee (EXCO) for another four-year term.

The congress, held on March 3, 2026, brought together statutory delegates, party leaders, and prominent stakeholders from across the state. It was characterized by a display of unity, orderliness, and a shared commitment to bolstering the party’s structures at every level. This affirmation follows successful congresses at the state and local government area levels, further solidifying the cohesion and loyalty of the Benue APC to the national leadership of the party.

At the conclusion of deliberations, a voice vote was taken, resulting in a unanimous decision by delegates to extend the tenure of the Austin Agada-led executive. The affirmed State Executive Committee includes:

Speakers at the event, including Ambassador Prof. Iorwuese Hagher OON (Chairman of the occasion), underscored the critical importance of unity, discipline, and loyalty within the party. They called on members to rally together in consolidating the APC’s gains in Benue State and nationally.

Second Republic Senator and elder statesman Dr. Jack Tilley Gyado OFR joined other prominent figures in expressing total support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Dr. George Akume (Secretary to the Government of the Federation and party leader), and the Agada-led EXCO. Goodwill messages were also delivered by Senator Dr. Titus Zam (on behalf of the National Assembly Caucus), Hon. Saater Tiseer (on behalf of Benue State House of Assembly members), Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa SAN, Dr. Mathias Byuan, Barr. Pius Akutah, and others.
