The Institute of Health and Technology at Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) has achieved a significant milestone by being officially listed on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal. This development, announced on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, marks a major step toward expanding access to the institute’s academic programs.

The announcement was made by Dr. James Terwase Ihongo, the Provost of the Institute, during a familiarization visit to the Benue State Office of JAMB in Makurdi. Dr. Ihongo highlighted that this inclusion enables prospective students seeking admission into the National Diploma programme in Health Information Management to apply directly through the JAMB platform. He emphasized that this move reflects the institute’s growing recognition and alignment with national admission standards, ensuring transparency and wider accessibility for applicants across the country.

Accompanying the Provost were the Institute’s Registrar, Mr. James Yol, and Admission Officer, Mr. John-Mark Imobo.
