Dr. Raymond Asemakaha-CFA, Group Managing Director of Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC), delivered a powerful keynote address at the WIN CONFERENCE 1.0, held at NNAM Hall in Makurdi. His message to the youths of Benue State was clear: take charge of your destinies by venturing into transformative businesses that can reshape both your lives and the future of the state.
Reflecting on his own struggles after graduating from university, Dr. Asemakaha shared how he once lived in incomplete buildings in Abuja. Drawing from his experience, the BIPC boss urged young people to learn lessons of resilience and perseverance, while shedding negative cultural orientations that hinder economic growth. He emphasized the need for a mindset shift, encouraging youths to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship as pathways to a brighter tomorrow.
Dr. Asemakaha highlighted that the current challenges facing Benue State are not just obstacles but opportunities for the youth to chart new courses in business and leadership. He further encouraged participants to focus on creativity, self-reliance, and value creation as tools to build a prosperous Benue, stressing that only through enterprise can the next generation secure a better future for themselves and society.
In a gesture of support, the GMD donated five laptops and seed capital to presenters at the conference to boost their businesses. This act underscored his commitment to fostering economic growth among the youth.
