In a significant move to streamline media operations, Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State, has unveiled a sweeping reform aimed at centralizing all activities of media support groups under a unified framework. The announcement was made during a meeting held at the CPS Conference Hall of the Government House in Makurdi on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Sir Kula emphasized the necessity of this restructuring to address in-house conflicts and factionalism, which he said were tarnishing the administration’s image. “I have observed and assessed the situation quietly. Some of you had begun to seek refuge elsewhere, questioning your loyalty to the governor. I am here today to reorganize and harmonize all of you under one leadership,” Kula stated. He further highlighted that Governor Alia’s administration is built on character, foresight, focus, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to the people, urging all media personnel to align with this vision.

Alia Media” without his consent, with his office set to officially transmit this directive to all relevant offices within and outside Benue State.
