A yet-to-be-identified student has been confirmed dead following the discovery of a lifeless body near Utambe residence in Ujam village, an area close to the campus of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (JOSTUM), Benue State.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, February 11, 2026, sending shockwaves through the university community and surrounding residents.
