Governor Alia Felicitates Uzodimma at 67, Hails Him as a True Progressive

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has sent warm felicitations to his Imo State counterpart and Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma, on the occasion of his 67th birthday.

In a statement issued on Friday, December 12, 2025, by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, Governor Alia described Senator Uzodimma as a diligent, forthright, and result-oriented politician endowed with a deep sense of loyalty, patriotism, and an unwavering commitment to good governance.

The Benue governor particularly commended Uzodimma’s massive investment in infrastructure across Imo State, noting that the rapid transformation taking place in the eastern heartland is a testament to purposeful leadership that is positively impacting the lives of the people.

Governor Alia also praised the celebrant’s pragmatic leadership style, especially in his role as leader of the Progressive Governors Forum, where he has consistently demonstrated solidarity with fellow APC governors and remained at the forefront of mobilizing state chief executives to champion people-centered policies that accelerate human capital development and improve the quality of life of citizens.
