Lobi Stars Football Club has touched down in Ogun State, marking the beginning of their campaign in the 13th edition of the Gold Cup Preseason Tournament. After a smooth journey from Kwara, the team settled in with an evening training session at the FC Ebedei Stadium in Sagamu, the designated venue for the tournament.
The squad, donning their vibrant kits, was seen putting in the hard yards on the pitch, with players and coaching staff focusing on fine-tuning strategies. The training session showcased the team’s determination, highlighted by images of the players warming up and goalkeepers honing their skills.
All eyes are now on their opening match, scheduled for Friday against Crown FC, with kickoff set for 4:00 PM. The “Pride of Benue” is ready to make a strong statement in the tournament, carrying the hopes of their fans under the hashtags #GoldCupTourney25, #LobiStars, #PrideOfBenue, and #Aliaboys.
