Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr Prof Joseph Terlunum Utsev, yesterday received Benue-born law graduate Barr Benedict Ater, who emerged as the overall best at the Nigerian Law Schools graduate 2025. Hailing from Tarka Local Government Area, Barr Ater bagged a First Class Law Degree (LLB Hons) from Benue State University (BSU), First Class BL (Nigerian Law School, Bwari-Abuja), and was named the overall best Nigerian Law School graduate in the country.
Prof Utsev, who welcomed Barr Ater in his office, commended him for his outstanding academic excellence and for making Benue State proud. The Minister assured Benue youths of his continued support and commitment to their welfare and academic success, as demonstrated through his yearly scholarships and empowerment programmes.
