Nigerian Cyclist Finds Home Away from Home in The Gambia on Epic NIG2USA Journey

In a heartwarming update from the road, Nigerian adventurer Emmanuel Iwuk, known online as Real-Emmiwuks, has reached day 134 of his ambitious bicycle journey from Nigeria to the United States. The Tiv community in The Gambia recently opened their arms to him, creating a moment of profound connection that reminded the traveler of his roots in Benue, Nigeria.

“From the moment I stepped in, it felt like home all over again,” Iwuk shared in an emotional Facebook post. “The laughter, the food, the language, the warm embrace, everything reminded me of Benue, of Nigeria, of where this journey began.”
