The Turan Development Association (TUDA) has announced the burial arrangements for its late President, Festus Iorkyar, inviting members of the public and well-wishers to join the Turan community in paying their final respects.
In a statement released by the association, TUDA disclosed that a wake will be held on April 17, 2026, while the final burial ceremony is scheduled for April 18, 2026.
The late Iorkyar was widely regarded within the community as a courageous and committed leader who dedicated his time and efforts to the growth and unity of the Turan people. During his tenure as President of TUDA, he was known for championing initiatives aimed at strengthening development and promoting cooperation among members of the community.
Following the announcement of his passing, members of the Turan community expressed deep sorrow, noting that his death has created a significant void within the association and among the people he served.
The association also called on friends, members, and supporters to stand in solidarity with the Turan community during this period of mourning as preparations continue to honour the life and legacy of their late leader.
