A tragic accident occurred earlier today near the newly constructed roundabout close to ERCC Secondary School in Azuba Bashayi, Shabu, Lafia, resulting in at least one fatality. According to eyewitnesses, a pickup vehicle collided with a Sharon bus, leaving one person dead at the scene.
Mr. Vincent Adagadzu, who witnessed the incident, expressed frustration over the slow response from road safety authorities despite distress calls made from the spot. The delay has raised concerns among locals about the effectiveness of emergency response systems in the area.
