Nigerian Cyclist Emmanuel Myam Embarks on Epic Journey to Freetown with Team

On the 75th day of an extraordinary cross-continental bicycle journey, Nigerian cyclist Eric, alongside his teammate Rebecca, set out from Bo City at 4 a.m. today, heading toward Freetown, approximately 230 kilometers away. Dubbed “NigUSA on a Bicycle,” this inspiring mission highlights unity, resilience, and hope across borders.

Eric, hailing from Kogi State, Nigeria, is joined by Rebecca and the Bo Team, a group of incredible cyclists whose camaraderie is making this long road lighter and stronger. The trio aims to reach Freetown before sunset, turning each pedal into a powerful statement. “It’s not just about reaching a destination,” Eric shared. “It’s about showing the world that unity, resilience, and hope can carry us across any border.”

This journey, spanning Nigeria, Liberia, and now Sierra Leone, carries a deeper purpose. Eric expressed gratitude to supporters, noting, “I carry your love, your prayers, and your encouragement with me on the road.” The mission transcends personal achievement, aiming to support orphans, the vulnerable, and Africa’s future.
