Nigerian music icon Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known as 2Baba or 2Face, is a father once again. The Afrobeat legend and Natasha Akpoti, a serving member of the Edo State House of Assembly, have reportedly welcomed a bouncing baby girl.
The arrival was confirmed in the early hours of today, 22 November 2025, with Natasha breaking the news herself on social media through a simple but joyful post: “It’s a Girl!” accompanied by prayer and heart emojis. Sources close to the couple say the baby was delivered on Thursday night at a hospital in Abuja.
This new addition marks 2Baba’s eighth child from four different women, and it comes at a particularly interesting time. Just a few months ago, reports were rife that the singer and his longtime wife, Annie Idibia, had separated after years of public marital storms. Many thought the legendary entertainer’s family chapter with new partners might have closed, but life, as 2Baba’s songs often remind us, is full of surprises.
