The Office of the Benue State Youth Leader, Hon. Gbenda Terver, has taken decisive action to combat robbery in Makurdi, successfully recovering stolen items for victims. Following a series of incidents last night, residents are encouraged to visit the Youth Leader’s office at Aper Aku Stadium to reclaim their belongings.
One victim had his phone stolen at gunpoint, but thanks to the swift intervention of Hon. Gbenda and his team, the robbers were pursued and forced to abandon a bag containing several stolen items. Although the robbers escaped on a bike, leveraging their knowledge of the pursuit zone, the phone and other belongings were recovered. Victims or those who recognize the individual in the accompanying photo are urged to contact the Youth Leader’s office to collect their recovered items.
In a related incident, Benue music star Lady Pesh was also robbed at her residence. She alerted Hon. Gbenda, who immediately mobilized his team. Their prompt response led to the successful recovery of both her stolen phones and other items.
