A Benue indigene, John Lupeer, has publicly narrated a painful personal ordeal, claiming his wife engaged in extramarital affairs while he was incarcerated for three months following a workplace dispute.
The allegations surfaced on social media after a Facebook user, Eni Idoma, shared Lupeer’s account and post, explaining that the man had reached out seeking public guidance on how to handle the situation. In the widely circulated narrative, Lupeer recounted being arrested after an altercation with a customer at his place of work. He was subsequently remanded in custody for three months before eventual release.
According to the post, during his time behind bars, his wife—mother of their three children—allegedly became involved with other men. Lupepeer reportedly shared a photograph alongside his account as part of his emotional appeal for advice and support.
Eni Idoma expressed sympathy for Lupepeer, noting that he had contacted her directly for counsel amid his distress. The story has since generated significant reactions online, with users commenting on themes of trust, loyalty, marital strain during incarceration, and the emotional toll of betrayal on families.
As of February 26, 2026, there has been no public response or statement from the wife named in the allegations, and the claims remain unverified by independent sources. No official police or legal documentation related to the alleged affairs has surfaced in connection with the social media post.
The incident has sparked broader online conversations about the impact of imprisonment on family relationships, the challenges faced by inmates’ spouses, and the role of social media in seeking communal advice for deeply personal crises. While the matter remains a private family issue, its public sharing has drawn attention to the human and emotional dimensions often overlooked in stories of incarceration.
