The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia for re-election in 2027. The announcement was made by Chief Benjamin Omale, the Unity Caretaker Committee Chairman, during a statement in Makurdi yesterday.
According to Omale, both leaders have demonstrated commendable performance during their tenure, earning them the support for a second term to further consolidate their achievements. He urged newly appointed state government officials to mobilize eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the upcoming elections.
“True love for the governor and the president can only be shown at the polls,” Omale emphasized, highlighting the importance of voter participation.
This endorsement reflects the APC’s confidence in Tinubu and Alia’s leadership, setting the stage for a strong campaign as the 2027 elections approach.
