Gunmen have kidnapped three siblings and seized the corpse of their late mother along the Ogbobia-Otukpo road in Benue State, sparking fresh security concerns in the area.
According to reports by Idoma Television, the incident occurred when suspected kidnappers intercepted the vehicle conveying the siblings somewhere between Ogbobia and Otukpo. The attackers abducted the three siblings along with the corpse of their deceased mother, which was being transported at the time of the attack.
The brazen operation has raised alarm among residents, coming shortly after recent police briefings on security operations and arrests in the state.
