Woman Allegedly Mutilates Son’s Genitalia in Zaki-Biam, Ukum LGA

A disturbing incident has been reported in Zaki-Biam, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State, where a woman allegedly cut off her young son’s genitalia.

The act reportedly occurred on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The woman, whose name has been withheld, is said to have carried out the act on her own child with no prior reported misunderstanding or conflict between her, her husband, or the victim.

According to eyewitness accounts, the boy was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Zaki-Biam for urgent medical attention, where a crowd gathered outside the facility. Investigations later revealed that the woman is mentally unstable.
