Benue APC Welcomes First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu for Official Visit and Project Commissioninghe Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has warmly welcomed the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on her official visit to the state scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2026

In a press release issued on Monday, June 15, 2026, by the State Chairman of the party, Chief Dr. Benjamin Omale, the APC described the visit as significant and timely for the people of Benue State. Dr. Omale noted that the First Lady’s trip underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to women empowerment, family support, and grassroots development under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Beyond empowerment programmes for women and vulnerable groups, the visit will feature the commissioning of ten strategic intra-city roads in Makurdi. These projects form part of over fifty road projects delivered by the administration of Governor Alia. The statement highlighted that the projects reflect Governor Alia’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal, economic expansion, and the improvement of living standards across the state.

The APC Chairman commended Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her consistent dedication to uplifting women and vulnerable Nigerians through the Renewed Hope Initiative.
